Gardening in Africa

This past year a large scale garden project was started at the Gueoul Lycée. The project was created by Professor Moussa Kebbe with his high school science students with funds given as a gift by Oomph-Spirit Director Heidi Peterson. Initially this was to test an organic chicken manure fertilizer with the hopes of being able to initiate the sales of an organic fertilizer in Senegal. The profits would benefit OS and it’s projects in Senegal as well as benefitting farmers, small business owners and agriculturists who are interested in using/selling a product that has long range benefits. A variety of foods were planted in mid-December more photos to come.
